At Unicorn Hygienics we have always held a strong commitment to operating a socially and environmentally responsible business. This ethos has guided how we have run all our operations from the manufacturing and production process, the materials in our products to the lighting in our offices and it will continue to do so for many years to come.

Recent years has saw investment into improving our manufacturing process, with the installation of new equipment to help minimize the environmental impact of our machines. With no act viewed as too big or small where environmental sustainability is concerned, larger measures such as the installation of solar PV panels operate alongside smaller changes such as the use of energy saving light bulbs.

As our company and operations evolve so does our sustainability practices. The development and move to our new Riverbank site has required some new thinking to ensure our sustainable practices not only continue but grow. In search for the best sustainability options, we are now happy to have 100% of our electricity generated from renewable resources with SSE Airtricity.

The small changes we continue to make to our business are very important to help us improve our environmental footprint and the future sustainability of our environment. Sustainability truly is at the heart of everything we do here at Unicorn Hygienics and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
